On Tuesday, July 28, 2020, team trapper Tina at Zone Magnolias was enjoying her evening when a macho cat that she has named Casanova Carlos because of his huge baby makers, appeared on her terrace.

SUNDAY MORNING FUNDRAISER FUN
This was our first time hosting a RASTRO. It proved to be a really fun time. The fundraising team set up treasures and by early morning sales were already underway. All in all 200 Euros was raised and delivered to Veronica the vet in the village.

DONATION & FUNDING REPORTS GIFT FROM A LOCAL BUSINESS Always great to start a report with an act of goodwill. The Trapping Team had put out a call for Cat Carrier Boxes to be donated for the cause and quickly there came an answer from Mercedes de Federico from Moraira who donated a plastic cat carrier box and a package of absorbent box pads. She told us that her husband Santiago Ibañez Ortiz at MorairaEBikes.com - an electric bike rental agency in Moraira village, would have the box and give it to us. HELP - NEED LOVE FOR BABY - FAST!
One of our community cat lovers discovered a little female kitten that had a serious birth defect; a prolapse and her organs were protruding through her rectum. This birth defect was badly inflected too. Very sad situation. But luckily, now that we have this great group of trappers, the kitten was captured and taken to Veronica the vet. This kitten has had a very traumatic experience as she was taken from her mother and then had to wait for her operation until the infection was under control. Now she has had a successful operation and recovery period at the vet, but she needs a loving care giver to take her in to foster or become her forever home. PLEASE give this baby a chance. We have done our goodwill, NOW... we hope that someone will step up to this cause and bless us with a saviour / friend / caring person to watch over the life of this sweet girl. CALL . FUNDING REPORT Another round of funding was delivered to Veronica the Vet in Benitachell on June 24th, 2020 . As per usual, this was well documented with a Donation Delivery certificate and a receipt was issued back from the vet for the cash to pay for her services. Veronica awarded our efforts with a big bag of cat food. This food will be distributed to the area feeders / carers who are doing a fabulous job.
