TRAPPING REPORT - NOVEMBER 29, 2020

The week started fresh on Monday, November 23, 2020 with Tina getting up early to make a start at the cat colony near the horse stables (Hipica). She arrived at 7:40 but not even one cat appeared even though the caretake and feeder arrived, still the cats stayed in bed. Tina decided to go over to Begonias. It was the goal to trap males because Veronica the village vet was very busy and males don't take up so much of her time. As soon as Tina set up the trap, 10 black cats surrounded it and it was very difficult to know which cat had the baby makers hanging down. Luckily, Tina spotted a macho and filled the trap with some smelly tuna and he was very interested. He entered the trap, ate all tuna and strolled out again. He watched Tina very carefully to see if she would refill the bowl with more tuna, which of course she quickly did. But, now other cats were appearing and wondering what was going on?
