  SAD MOMMY LOSES HER KITTEN TO CARELESS DRIVER Trapping has been a slow starter this season due to all the rain, but on Monday, October 18, 2021 trapper Florence started in the morning about 8:30 full of motivated trapping energy.  After she prepared the trap with newspaper, cloth pins and of course some tasty food pieces she got lucky because Grisounette, a beautiful brown tabby female with 2 kittens was trapped. She brought her to the vet and picked her up when she was ready. The mama recovered until very late evening and was happy to be reunited with her kittens. 3 days later Grisounettes kitten Tigrou was dead. She was hit by a car close her sleeping places in Magnolias. The lifeline was very short for this young kitten 12 weeks. The driver didn't even stop. Imagine killing a kitten? On this same day, a black cat was hit by car in Camelias and the driver left her on the street.  Nice words were said for the kittens and they were laid to rest in peace.  O...

  Trapping this week took place on Friday, October 15, 2021 with team trapper Tina with her trap out in the Kalmias zone of Cumbre del Sol. TINA REPORTS: "The scheduled trapping on Friday was complicated but ended successfully. This adventure started about 2 weeks ago when I was messaged by a cat lover named Sylvia who proceeded to tell me about a cat family that had started to visit her garden. There was a beautiful mother and 4 kittens and Syliva sent me some photos.  However, the family were not regular in the garden so it was planned that Sylvia start to feed them in the same place daily and develop a routine.   Trapping started bright and early on Monday, September 27, 2021 with head trapper setting up in the Monte Cala zone of Cumbre del Sol TINA REPORT "This week I started with a car full of traps, transport boxes and food for luring cats. Some community CumbreCat lovers - Nils & Bodil - informed me last week about a mummy with 3 kittens in Monte Cala who needed to be trapped and neutered. Nils and the neighbours were feeding this little family but had to leave Spain for a while so they sent me fotos of the cats and showed me the feeding place. They have also organised other feeders for cooperation and will support the neutering with their neighbors too.  When I arrived there were two kittens playing near the feeding place and hungry.
