Your dedication to fostering exchange of interests and information among homeowners, local authorities, and VAPF is truly commendable. We also want to express our profound appreciation for your generous support of our CumbreCats campaign. Thanks to your contributions, we were able to fund the castration of 11 males and 5 females. Your compassion towards these vulnerable animals is truly heartwarming. It's neighbors like you who make our community such a special place to live, and we're incredibly proud to have your support in our efforts to control and care for our furry friends who deserve to live their lives to the fullest. Remember, harmony is the key to the happiness of life.

TIME TO RETIRE Trapper Report: Today I returned to the Dalias zone to try again to trap a mommy and one of her kittens from the little colony there. To my surprise, a big neutered tabby 😼 CumbreCat was a bad boy and went into the trap and ate all the food. Once I got rid of him, I had to wait around. Then after about 30 minutes a big black male cat strolled into my trap. He was an older boy and full of scratches, probably from defending his honour fights with other cats. I was sure that he was indeed the father of many kittens. Now that he has been to visit our village vet, he can start a new retired life. 🌟 BROTHERS OFF THE MARKET Trapper's Update: Last Monday morning, I was all set to trap this crafty mama cat who's been dodging me for a while. We extend our gratitude to Claudia's, the local restaurant in Benitachell, for their support during the last weekend of January. They not only introduced a special cat menu to their program but also allowed our food hamper and donation can to be present in their establishment throughout the weekend. Thanks to the kindness and generosity of those who participated, we received 14 kilograms of food and 96 euros. This outcome will be shared with Gatos Felices, the cat programme in the village, contributing to the well-being of the feline firends we care for. To everyone who took the time to support our food drive, and to Claudia's for their efforts, we express our sincere appreciation.
