BIG SHOW OF GRATITUDE TO THE CARING CITIZES OF CUMBRE DEL SOL Over the past months, we have had some funds come in that have helped with the neutering of our female CumbreCats. It is important to our trappers that as any cats are done now before the mating spring fling kicks into gear. The collection cans were emptied and together with other donamtion we rounded up 828,00 euros to give our beautiful business associate and all-around good person - Veronica the vet of Benitachell. We also had a lovely resident named Marilyn come forward and buy a Gift Certificate to go towards neuting 2 females and 2 males.  These Gift Certificates have been great way of giving for residents who love and care about the freedom and lives of our famous CumbreCats.  ASK ABOUT THEM by emailing CumbreCats@gmail.com   TAKE A LOOK AT ALL THE  CARING CITIZENS OF CUMBRE!!

ANOTHER COLONY ALL UNDER CONTROL   Trapping started bright and early on Monday, February 7, 2022, for our head trapper as she headed out to the Magnolias zone at 8:00.   TRAPPER REPORT:   "This Monday I was early, just a little bit before the normal feeding time for this little colony. I put a very small trail into the trap with a bigger bowl at the end. It did not take long until both CumbreCats appeared. Hungrily, they rounded the trap, at first looking a bit astonished but then I could lure the brother Felix away with dry food. Then the female entered the trap quickly eating piece by piece until after 1 minute I could press the clos...

BREAKING NEWS: CASANOVA HAS BEEN CAUGHT Wednesday, January 26, 2022 was a busy day for the CumbreCats team.  Firstly, big thanks go to our community dog walkers who report CumbreCats in need. One of our team was walking her dog and informed the trappers about a big boy needing is baby-makers neutered over in the Pueblo de la Luz zone. This macho is known to the team trappers as Casanova and the photo that our dog-walker friend took of him proved that he was out on the prowl chasing down the ladies. The CumbreCat female crowd had to hide in the trees just to escape his pursuits. Flustered, one of our team members, who is also a caretaker and extreme cat lover, had been trying to catch Casanova for months!! This boy was always one step ahead of this trapper. Fortunately, our team trapper was able to finally get him in her trap. What a grand success after so long.  The trapper took Casanova to Veronica our vet who was happy to finally see this famous boy in her office.  He w...
