FIRST CATS OF THE FALL TRAPPING SEASON
TRAPPING REPORT
Jenny and her daughter Evie were the first of the September 2020 trapping season to capture two cats.
According to Jenny, the cats were young ones, around 6 months old and from the same litter. They seemed to know the cats in the Monte Cala area.
In fact, the cats knew Evie who is 11 years of age and already an experience trapper, and she was able to just pick up the grey cat and put it right in the trap.
The grey cat was a male and the tabby was a female. She needed a bit of food to entice her into the trap but she was secured in about 15 minutes by Evie.
The cats were captured around 8:30 or 9:00 and off to the vet they went by opening time at 10:00.
Veronica the vet rang Jenny at 13:00 to say the cats were ready for pickup.
The male was the first to be released and the female a few hours after. Both were happy to be back home.😻
