Feed the Stray Cats Campaign: Sharing the Responsibility between Communities
Benitachell, Alicante

The CumbreCats and Gatos Felices is proud to announce the launch of a joint campaign, "Feed the Stray Cats."

The initiative aims to address the issue of stray cats by raising awareness and funds to ensure that these animals are properly fed and that their caretakers are not always paying!
Stray cats are a common sight in many places across Spain. While some people view them as a nuisance, others recognize the importance of caring for these animals.

Unfortunately, it can be difficult for individuals or even one community to take on this responsibility alone.
That's where the "Feed the Stray Cats" campaign comes in.

The campaign aims to bring together two communities: those who care for the welfare of stray cats and those who want to contribute to this cause.

By working together, these two communities can help ensure that stray cats are properly fed, and their basic needs are met.
The campaign is built around the idea that small acts of kindness can make a big difference. By donating even a small amount, individuals can help ensure that stray cats have access to food and water.
"We believe that every animal deserves to be treated with kindness and respect, and that includes stray cats," said Karla Darocas, the CumbreCats spokesperson.

"By launching the 'Feed the Stray Cats' campaign, we hope to create a sense of community and shared responsibility around this issue. Together, we can make a difference in the lives of these animals."
The campaign is not only a way to help stray cats but also an opportunity for individuals and communities to come together and make a positive impact.

By working together, we can help ensure that stray cats are given the care they need and deserve.
The Campaign is hosting a Fundraiser Lunch at Pizzeria Antiquary in Benitachell that includes Delicious Pizza, Salad, Tiramisu, Wine, Water and Coffee for only 20 euros.

Incredible prizes have been donated to the Raffle, so everyone goes home a winner!
All proceeds will go towards buying cat food to be share by all caretaker volunteers in both CumbreCats and Gatos Felices.

Please note that there is also cat food collection hamper baskets at our local pet food store (Victor's) in the village of Benitachell and at our community supermarket Pepe la Sal on Cumbre del Sol urbanisation.
