WELCOME BACK AND UPDATE REPORT

Welcome to 2021. Our campaign continues to control the cat population on Cumbre del Sol lives to see another day. No events nor trapping was done over the holidays and then we had such rotten, wet weather that everything was put on hold.

However, our friends from the village of Benitachell, veterinarian Veronica and her assistant Anouk,  gifted us with 20 kg of dry cat food.

And, to our surprise, a donation gift certificate was also purchased by a Cumbre resident, through Veronica, and was waiting at the vets.  NICE SURPRISE!! Wonderful people.

HOWEVER!! Due to Covid concerns our Bake Sale and Rastro Fundraiser will have to go on hold so we are going to try another standard fundraiser item - A COMMUNITY COOKBOOK.

The idea is to collect recipes from our lovely international neighbours and friends and fill a book full of fantastic recipes with ingredients sourced locally. Then we will have a fundraiser item to sell online and also we can print some and sell via outlets.

If you can contribute to this project then click the button below or in the navigation bar.

Stay tuned for Trapping Reports and they come in. Tell your friends to join our website and / or watch for our FaceBook posts. We will always keep you up to date with all of our activities with the hopes that you too will become involved.
