FUNDING & TRAPPING REPORTS - September 30, 2020
FUNDRAISER REPORT
Tuesday, September 29, 2020, we dropped off our fundraising contributions to Veronica the Vet. She was very pleased at our success. She also showed us a large jar full of money that sits on her desk. She has been asking for donations for us and that jar was getting heavy.
Tina dropped off some fundraiser items for sale, that he lovely husband created. They are fabulous hand made cards and tiny bags and boxes, all aimed at Christmas giving. So, if you are there, pick up one or two. I have already bought a bunch and they will come in handy very soon!
WE THANK EVERYONE who has donated to our efforts. You can see their names on our GRATITUDE WALL - click here

TRAPPING REPORT
Tina was up very early on Tuesday, September 29, 2020. She headed over to Andrea's home in Olivos. Their goal was to trap a happy cat family that hangs-out at Andrea's place because she feeds and cuddles them.
Andrea is a very lovely lady with a big heart for cats and they know it. She feeds and engages with the feral cats in her zone every day. They love her.
About six months ago, a mother with a batch of kittens showed up at her door. Since then, she has feed and befriended them. The mother was neutered right away, but now it was time for the kittens to go to the vet.
Andrea decided to try and capture one of the cats and put it into the cat carrier box but a tossle ensued and the plan was scrapped. However, a bit later, the cat came back for a snack and Andrea wasted no time and grabbing the girl and putting her safely into the carrier box.
Another female approached the food bowl and Andrea easily picked her up and placed her into another box. Now, the trapped looked around for the macho of the family. Andrea became worried about her boy.
Finally, the male swaggered down the street and marched right into Andrea's living room, where Andrea whisked him up and placed him in a carrier box.
By 9:15 Tina was driving a whole car full of cats to the vet. She picked them up again at 13:30 and let them relax in her guestroom until 19:30.
Tina took the cats back over to Andrea's home and released them. Both cat parents were there to receive their children. Andrea took the the young boy out of his box and gave him a cuddle before giving him back to his family. His tail raised up, he stretched himself out before giving kisses to all of his family. Then he went right back to eating at the food bowl. The females were happy to be back home as well. It was a heart warming reunion.
